Rooms

The four bedrooms are different from each other in size and the amenities they offer, having unique character and their own particular advantages. Each room is named after a star constellation, in keeping with the Sky Pavilion theme.

All rooms are air-conditioned. The well-designed attached bathrooms are equipped with hot water, rain showers and hairdryers. Mini fridge, locker, tea/coffee making facilities, piped music and Wi-Fi access are other conveniences available in the rooms.

There are two adjoining rooms on the first level. Two rooms on the upper level open out to the Sky Deck. Common to all rooms are the stunning views spanning over 180 degrees, accessible from large picture windows.

Andromeda is a spacious and comfortably furnished room which can be used as a triple room. It’s also ideal for a family. The room was named for the Andromeda constellation. Andromeda represents the beautiful Princess in Greek mythology who was rescued from being sacrificed to a monster, by hero Perseus. This room, is tastefully furnished in period feel furniture, in homage to Andromeda’s beauty. The Andromeda constellation is located in the first quadrant of the northern hemisphere (NQ1) and can be seen at latitudes between +90° and -40°.

Cygnus is the name given to the luxurious double room on the 1st Level. The well-appointed room breathes romance and intimacy. It features a glass-partitioned bathroom with an outdoor tub and “his” and “hers” vanity counters. The name of the room was inspired by the constellation Cygnus, meaning swan, for the association with romance. Constellation Cygnus represents the swan form adopted by the amorous Greek God Zeus in his romantic escapades. Swans of our own local literature are birds that love luxury and mate for life, who symbolize the happy couple state. Cygnus is a constellation in the fourth quadrant of the northern hemisphere (NQ4) and can be seen at latitudes between +90° and -40°. It’s also sometimes referred to as the Northern Cross.

Aquila is a double room on the topmost level, opening out to the sky deck, featuring a large writing desk and spacious attached bathroom. The room is very private and would even be suitable for a working holiday. “Aquila” meaning Eagle in Arabic, was named for the constellation of the same name which represents the bird that carried Zeus’s thunderbolts in Greek mythology. This room at Sky Pavilion is aptly named for the eagle’s eye views and the privacy it provides. The Aquila constellation is found in the fourth quadrant of the northern hemisphere (NQ4). It can be seen at latitudes between +90° and -75°.

Ankaa is the other comfortable double room that opens out to the Sky Deck at the top-most level of the villa, open to splendid views and loads of privacy. The constellation “Ankaa”  bears an Arabic name and represents the firebird, or phoenix, held sacred across many cultures and mythologies. This room was named for the phoenix and the fiery splendour of a starlit night sky. It is located in the first quadrant of the southern hemisphere (SQ1) and can be seen at latitudes between +32° and -80°.
